Mola Lizard - #1 in the Lucky Lizard Series

Comma Chameleons - #2 in the Lucky Lizard Series
comma_cham.jpg (340054 bytes)

For the lizard lovers in your life, here is an easy wallhanging featuring happy chameleons sure to make you smile. Discover how quick it is to "piece" the background block using fabric collage construction. A layer of tulle is added to stop the raw edges from fraying and gives the surface a refined look. The first time you'll need your sewing machine will be at the final steps of quilting.

Finished size 16 1/2" W x 16 1/2" L

$ 8.50

Lizard on a Ladder - #3 in the Lucky Lizard Series
lizard_ladder.jpg (284716 bytes)

The whimsical idea of a lizard with a ladder came from the book Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass.  This version takes on a Southwestern flavor by introducing my lizard to the ladders of the pueblos and cliff dwellings. Both fabric glue and fusible web are used in the collage construction process. A layer of tulle and yarn are added at the machine quilting stage.

Finished size 15" W x 21" L

$ 8.50

Salamander Square - #4 in the Lucky Lizard Series
salamander square.jpg (180412 bytes) A swirl of salamanders chase each other on this little wall hanging or pillow. Fabric collage construction is used to layer the shapes, so you won't have any seams to sew or edges to turn under. A layer of tulle and machine quilting will hold this raw edge collage in place. Couched spirals of yarns and an assortment of beads add texture to this playful block.

Finished size 18 1/2" W x 18 1/2" L

$ 8.50
