Villages

Step, window and door shapes,  are cut randomly from fabrics and collaged together to create mysterious little villages. Sometimes my journey will take me to center city and other times to remote cliff dwellings.

The use of these shapes and the freedom of the collage process are  symbolic of my personal journey as an artist. I never quite know where it will take me, but I am enjoying the ride!

The fabric collage process is described in detail in my book "Happy Villages".
